Information and Registration
David's clinic is 3 schooling days of private lessons. Only 10 rides per day will be offered so please register early if you want to take advantage of the opportunity to ride with him. He will work with riders of all levels with any breed of horse, traditional dressage or western dressage.
Born in 1961 in New York, David De Wispelaere is an international dressage rider, trainer, and author, who worked for many years from his farm in Belgium and is currently based in Wellington, Florida. He has trained several horses to Grand Prix, was a two-time US Freestyle Champion and competed successfully throughout the USA and Europe. A colleague of Dr. Gerd Heuschmann, David is a staunch advocate of classical riding for the good of the horse. He has trained with a number of well-known and distinguished trainers, among them Gabriella Grillo, Dr. Reiner Klimke, Herbert Rehbein, and Arthur Kottas. De Wispelaere currently gives clinics in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, and the USA. In his first book, "Riding with Feeling" (now available in English), De Wispelaere gives insightful instruction for dressage work. In his second book, "My Horses Have Something to Say", he writes intimately about his extraordinary life and the unforgettable horses that have accompanied him. In his book "My Horses Have Something to Say" he writes "I would like to invite my horse to dance, not step into a boxing ring with him." David competed Grand Prix with Figaro and Florentin (full brothers to Florestan) during his years in Belgium; Warmblood and Iberian horses there and since his return here to the US. David teaches the rider to attune to the horse's natural sensitivity through clear and consistent communication, with the rider's seat taking center stage as the aids are allowed to flow harmoniously through the body. The essence of his conversations with horses is that they should be trained in an atmosphere of calm and understanding. He attaches great importance to a trusting and respectful relationship between horse and rider. His training approaches are designed to promote a horse's natural movement and improve physical and mental health. RIDERS: PRIVATE riding slots are $195.00.
If you use the PayPal button, a BALANCE will be due at the clinic.
Rider tuition includes full AUDITING all days and LUNCH daily

AUDITORS
Auditors may attend each day. Cost to Audit is $100.00 for all days, or $35.00 each individual day. LUNCH is included. Seating space is limited so register for your auditor spaces ASAP! You will learn more by attending this event as an auditor than you can even imagine.
BOOK SIGNING
Book signing after the rides is possible. Purchase your books ahead of time bring them and and David will happily autograph.
